Corrective Chiropractic Care for the Dripping Springs Community
Dripping Springs has grown fast over the past decade, and the community has shifted from a quiet Hill Country town to one of the most sought-after places to live west of Austin. New neighborhoods along RR 12 and US 290, families drawn to Dripping Springs ISD, remote professionals who wanted more space without giving up access to the city. The growth has been real.
But that growth also means longer drives, more desk hours, and the same postural and spinal issues that come with modern life layered on top of an active Hill Country lifestyle. Hiking at Hamilton Pool Preserve, cycling Fitzhugh Road, weekends at local wineries and breweries along the "Drink Drip" trail, youth sports through DSISD athletics. All of it stacks up.
Our clinic in Bee Cave is a quick 30-minute drive east on US 290. We've been serving patients from the Dripping Springs area for years, and with no corrective chiropractic option in Dripping Springs itself, many residents make the short trip to get care that goes beyond basic adjustments. We use before-and-after X-rays to measure structural change, not just symptom relief.

What Brings Dripping Springs Residents Into Our Office
- Long commutes into Austin on US 290 or RR 12 to Bee Cave Road, creating chronic neck tension, lower back compression, and upper back stiffness from 30-60 minutes of daily seat time
- Long commutes into Austin on US 290 or RR 12 to Bee Cave Road, creating chronic neck tension, lower back compression, and upper back stiffness from 30-60 minutes of daily seat time
- Remote and hybrid professionals who relocated to Dripping Springs for the space but spend 8+ hours at home office setups that weren't built for spinal health, leading to forward head posture and rounded shoulders
- Weekend hiking at Hamilton Pool Preserve, Pedernales Falls, Reimers Ranch, and the Homestead Trail causing lower back and hip strain from uneven terrain

- Road cycling on Fitzhugh Road and the rolling hills west of town, creating neck, shoulder, and lumbar issues from extended riding posture
- Youth athletes in Dripping Springs ISD (Tigers) dealing with football, baseball, volleyball, soccer, and track injuries, plus growth-related postural changes from heavy backpacks and constant screen time
- Active families splitting time between outdoor Hill Country activities and desk-bound work weeks, accumulating spinal stress without realizing how much has built up until something locks up or starts to radiate
Why Dripping Springs Residents Choose Elite Wellness
Dripping Springs doesn't currently have a corrective chiropractic practice in town. Most chiropractors in the area focus on short-term symptom relief: a quick adjustment, some temporary crack-and-pop, and a follow-up appointment. That approach can help in the moment, but it doesn't address the structural problem causing your pain in the first place.

At Elite Wellness Chiropractic, we take a different approach. Dr. Mikala Hiben starts every new patient with a comprehensive exam and full-spine X-rays ($60 for the complete New Patient Experience). Those X-rays show us exactly what's going on structurally, not guessing, not assuming. On your second visit, we walk you through a report of findings so you can see the problem and understand the plan to correct it.
Our treatment combines spinal adjustments, corrective exercises, and spinal decompression (we have Bee Cave's only DOC decompression table) to create lasting structural change. We prove the results with follow-up X-rays so you can see the before and after for yourself.
This is the kind of care that's worth a 30-minute drive.
Conditions We Commonly See from Dripping Springs Patients
Many Dripping Springs patients come to us after living with pain for months or even years, often after trying other treatments that didn't stick. The most common conditions we treat include:
Back Pain
The most common reason patients walk through our door. Whether it started from a lifting injury, years of desk work, or gradual wear and tear, we find the structural cause and build a plan to correct it.
Heading
Neck Pain
Commute-related tension, poor desk posture, and screen time all contribute. We address the cervical spine alignment causing the pain, not just the muscles compensating for it.
Heading
Sciatica
Radiating leg pain, numbness, and tingling that often starts in the lower back. Our decompression table is particularly effective for disc-related sciatica cases.
Heading
Headaches & Migraines
Many chronic headaches originate from cervical spine misalignment and forward head posture. Correcting the structure often resolves the headaches without medication.
Heading
Disc Herniations & Bulges
We combine our DOC decompression table with corrective care as a non-surgical treatment option. Many patients come to us after being told that surgery is their only option.
Heading
Hip Pain
Pelvic imbalance, lumbar spine issues, and compensatory movement patterns all contribute. Common in runners, hikers, and cyclists from the Dripping Springs area.
Heading
Shoulder Pain
Often connected to thoracic spine alignment and posture. We evaluate the whole kinetic chain, not just the shoulder joint.
Heading
Numbness & Tingling
Nerve compression from spinal misalignment or disc issues. We identify where the compression is happening and work to relieve it at the source.
Heading
Whiplash & Auto Injuries
The most common auto injury. Sudden acceleration-deceleration forces cause your head to snap backward and then forward, damaging facet joint capsules, cervical discs, and stabilizing muscles.

Why Patients Drive to See Us
"I began my Elite Wellness Chiropractic journey about one month ago. I can't say enough good things about the staff. I truly feel like family as soon as I walk in the door!
It is located in Bee Caves, Texas and although I have to drive an hour and 15 minutes to get there, I look forward to my visits every week. It is a peaceful, friendly environment. It is not like any other chiropractic office I have been to. The treatment is very individualized and thorough, encompassing more than just a quick adjustment.
Dr. Mikala is amazing! She is kind and professional with a great big smile. I know I'm in good hands with her and I'm very excited about the healing journey I am on!"

Frequently Asked Questions: Chiropractic Care Near Dripping Springs
It depends on what you're looking for. If you want a quick adjustment for temporary relief, there are options closer. If you want corrective care that identifies the structural cause of your pain with X-rays and tracks measurable improvement over time, that's what we specialize in. Many of our patients drive 30 minutes or more because the approach and results are different from what they've found locally.
The New Patient Experience is $60 and includes a comprehensive exam plus full-spine X-rays. We're a cash-pay practice, which means no insurance billing, no surprise charges, and no waiting for pre-authorization. We do accept HSA and FSA cards. The one exception: if you've been in a car accident, we accept auto injury insurance and Letters of Protection.
Most chiropractors focus on symptom relief: you're in pain, they adjust you, the pain decreases temporarily, you come back when it returns. Corrective care addresses the structural misalignment causing the symptoms. We take initial X-rays, build a care plan targeting the specific structural issue, and take follow-up X-rays to confirm improvement. The goal is lasting correction, not ongoing dependency.
Yes. Auto injury is the one exception to our cash-pay model. If you've been in a car accident, we accept auto injury insurance and work with attorneys through Letters of Protection (LOPs). You can receive care with no upfront out-of-pocket cost while your claim is being resolved. Early evaluation is important, so don't wait weeks to get checked out.
Back pain, neck pain, and sciatica are the top three. We also see a lot of patients with disc herniations, headaches, and posture-related issues from desk work. For disc conditions, we use our DOC spinal decompression table, which is the only one in Bee Cave.
That depends entirely on what your X-rays and exam show. Typical corrective care plans range from a few weeks for mild issues to several months for significant structural problems. Dr. Hiben will walk you through the specific plan on your second visit (report of findings) so you know exactly what to expect before committing.
Yes. We see patients of all ages, from children to older adults. Many families come in together. Pediatric and adolescent patients are common, especially athletes from Dripping Springs ISD and surrounding school districts.
